Welcome Artists – Demonstrators – Volunteers – Vendors! We recognize your investment to get here and participate. We want you to know that we value that commitment, and we have worked diligently to create an exciting festival — one that is worth your investment.

Inside Hot Springs State Park – When you go under the railroad overpass, you are in the state park immediately. To your right is Days Inn. To your left is Park Plaza. Right beyond the Park Plaza building is a road that turns north and runs next to the Plaza. Turn on that road (north). Put on your brakes. There is a small parking area north of the building. Juried artists may unload in this area. The entire green area of shaded trees (and now temporary tents) will be festival. Demonstrators will be at the north end. A small area on the right side (Kiwanis Shelter parking area) will also be used by demonstrators. Kiwanis Trading Post is on the opposite side of the green, across the street from the State Bathhouse and Star Plunge. That street is accessible by going straight at the stop sign at the Plaza Motel. Go the next stop sign and turn left.
Unloading – Please wait to unload until you have checked in with one of our volunteers. If you need help unloading, we will have people and equipment to help. Locate us near one of the tents or in the parking area next to the Park Plaza.
During the Festival – We will be running a live radio feed on Saturday morning; and we will be feeding photographs to Basin Reboot in Cody throughout the day. A photographer will be taking photos for future use.
Security – You may leave canopies, tents, tables, chairs, coolers, tubs of supplies. But it is wise to secure small items you have for sale, such as jewelry, or special equipment you need for your work.
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the state parks. If you have pets, please keep them on a leash and pick up after them. There is a designated dog area in the park near the railroad overpass/entrance.
Exit Survey – Hot Springs Greater Learning Foundation is responsible for raising funds for the festival. We must report back to those who have provided funds — number of people who attended, what went well (or didn’t), suggestions you might have. Please take the time to fill out a very short survey before you leave. It will also be online at www.wyomingfolkfestival.com.
Please respect the land and be a responsible user. Hot Springs State Park has an important history, and we wish to preserve it for future generations.
